Build A Network Marketing Website The Easy Way

There is no denying the importance of a web presence when it comes to building and maintaining a successful network marketing company. These days, without a website you’re basically dead in the water.

A good website can serve many important functions for your network marketing business. You can use it as a sales pitch to prospect new recruits. You can use it to get contact information for follow-up (i.e. leads). You can put out important messages for your downline.

The best part is that you can do all of those and more with one simple website.

But you’re probably thinking, “That’s fine and all, but how do I build a website?” Don’t worry about technological handicaps, and don’t give up and say “websites are for guys with mad programing skills” (I figure if you know how to build a website you already have one and probably haven’t read this far down).

It’s easier than you think. Here are just a few solutions to building your own functional, good looking website without any design or programming skills:

How To Build A Network Marketing Website

Solution 1: Outsource.

If you flat-out aren’t interested in setting up your own network marketing website, but understand and want to utilize the power of the internet, consider paying someone else to build your site. There are plenty of very qualified people out there that can do amazing things with computer code, and as the Internet has become mainstream, the supply and demand curve for web programmers has hit a saturation point, meaning you can hire some really talented people for very, very low prices.

Solution 2: A Free Blog.

Blogs have two big advantages going for them: 1) they have been around for quite some time, and people look to them as sources of authority; and 2) they are very easy to set up, no special programming skills are required.

There are several places to sign up for a free blog, but the most popular are Blogger.com and Wordpress.com.

Even though they are free, they are still very powerful. In addition to easily adding content as often as you’d like, you can include opt-in boxes, graphics, links and more.

Solution 3: Self-Hosted Wordpress Site.

Wordpress is a very powerful and popular program that makes it easy to add content, change themes, add pictures, throw in complex html operations and more – all at the touch of a button.

The advantage of building a self-hosted site is that you won’t have the annoying “.wordpress” in the domain of your site (i.e. “YourSite.Wordpress.com”). Instead it will be much cleaner (YourSite.com).

But you will need to buy a hosting service, which usually run about $10 per month, plus a small, one-time sign-up fee. It’s not a huge monthly investment, especially considering most network marketing professionals spend more than that on training tools alone each month.

Option 4: Dreamweaver.

Dreamweaver is the program of choice for most professional web developers, and it’s easy to see why. It’s powerful and full of crazy options that take entire textbooks to explain. If you’ve got the patience to learn this program, it might actually be your best bet, as it will give you unlimited flexibility later on down the road.

Again, you’ll need to buy a hosting service for this one. And probably a manual or two on how to use the program. Chances are, if you outsource your website to a freelancer, as explained in option 1, he or she will probably use this software.

Speaking of manuals, give this one a shot. I know several people who swear by it. They say it’s great for beginners who know absolutely nothing about the program, but has enough substance for intermediate users.

In fact, I’d highly recommend buying a manual like this before dropping money on the software. It might sound kind of backwards, but you’re better off reading about it and determining if the system is for you for about $15 before jumping into a much more expensive purchase.

If you’re the type that likes learning new skills, or better yet already has decent programming skills, this option will probably yield you the best results over the long haul. Some of the most elaborate Network Marketing Websites were built this way.
